Colorado recently passed a homeowners rights bill that formed an taskforce to look into HOAs and Metro Districts. This is designed to create some accountability on how HOAs operate. Colorado residents appear to be tired of the HOA's over-reach. This taskforce will examine how fines are levied, liens placed, and how HOAs operate with homeowners.
